WASTE EXTRUDERS |
Stepp Equipment carries a full line of Sebright waste extruders for eliminating liquids from refuse streams prior to disposal or recycling. Stepp Equipment and Sebright will test your waste stream onsite or in the plant to project possible savings through weight reduction and volume. Extruders work well for fibrous waste streams like secondary paper pulp, de-watering vegetables, de-packaging dairy products, and a variety of other waste products. Sebright extruders have successfully been used in flight kitchens to eliminate liquid weight, reducing refuse hauling and fuel costs, and are capable of extruding up to 92% of liquid from many materials.
Seven sizes are available to handle even the highest volume of product.

EPS DENSIFIERS |

Bright Technologies, has developed a line of EPS Densifiers for volumes from 100 lbs. per hour to 1200 lbs. per hours, producing truckloads of 40,000 lbs. for optimum efficiency, while it eliminates pentane gas dangers. Equipment is designed, manufactured, installed and serviced right here in the United States. Benefits Include of Bright Technologies’ EPS Densifiers include reduced storage requirements, reduced hauling & handling costs, and minimal maintenance. The original EPS Densifier, installed in 1995, is still in use today. The Densifier is available with a variety of options so that you can customize it to your facility’s specifications.

DE-PACKAGING |

The Bright Technologies’ XTRACTOR is a highly specialized piece of equipment that is designed specifically for de-packaging applications in the food industry. It makes no difference if the package is paper, plastic, aluminum, tin, steel, or P.E.T. the XTRACTOR can do the job. This unit not only removes the liquid content from the package, it also contains the liquid and the solid material for a controlled, and clean removal which greatly assists in recycling. The XTRACTOR is able to achieve weight reduction of up to 97% and volume reduction of up to 95%, and yet process up to 8 cubic yards per hour of material. Available options include automated operation, liquid retaining & plumbing systems, stainless steel construction, custom feed hoppers & hydraulic cart dumpers, and the unit can be customized to fit your application.
